Advocacy
National Issues Conference coming up! With so many issues impacting the commercial real estate industry to be debated, it is imperative that BOMA members attend both the Winter Business Meeting and the National Issues Conference to help voice BOMA’s key concerns to lawmakers on Capitol Hill. Congress has yet to address some unresolved matters in the first half of the 112th Congress, including major energy and tax policy issues.
As a federated local affiliate of BOMA-International, BOMA Tulsa will be sending key officers to the BOMA-I Winter Business Meeting and National Issues Conference. We will be setting up appointments to visit our legislators and representatives, Senators Dr. Tom Coburn and Jim Inhofe, and, Congressmen John Sullivan and Dan Boren.
Let us know prior to January 30 what your issues are so that we can include it in our conversations on Capitol Hill.
See below for the latest communication from BOMA-I.
