The mission of our committee is to coordinate membership involvement to benefit Tulsa charities and the community in general, in order to maximize the visibility and public awareness of BOMA Tulsa and to provide a vehicle for community service. Our charges include:
- Develop assistance programs for members in need.
- Solicit volunteers for identified projects/programs
- Continue supporting Mark Twain Elementary School
- Develop a plan to spread out volunteer opportunities throughout the year

Our mission is to ensure all BOMA Tulsa information is current, accessible and useful to its members. Our charges are to:
- Oversee the BOMA Tulsa website to ensure information is accurate, and in 2011 obtain a new website to professionalize the association and improve member services.
- Update all general information for the annual directory.
- Oversee major PR efforts.

Our mission is to continually raise the level and quality of professionalism within the industry and profession by providing pertinent, quality and useful educational information on the industry, trends, best practices, and designations to members and the community. Our efforts include:
- Manage seminars, including the selection of topics and speakers, determination of price and location and promotion.
- Organize, schedule and/or promote courses for professional designations
- Provide forums for building engineers and other sub groups of the industry to meet and discuss topics of interest.

Our mission is to monitor, positively affect and communicate to our members all regulatory and legislative actions that could impact members through local, state and federal government. We are charged with:
- Maintaining contact with elected and appointed officials at local, state and federal levels.
- Ensuring regular and meaningful communications are provided to our members.
- Communicate advocacy efforts of BOMA International to our local BOMA

Our mission is to host a golf tournament that benefits BOMA Tulsa, its members and the local community. Our charges:
- Organize volunteers prior to and during the event.
- Promote participation and sponsorship for the event.
- Support the community service committee through a portion of the net proceeds from the tournament.

Chaired by a principal member, our mission is to develop and implement initiatives to retain and recruit quality members, to ensure members have valuable and meaningful partnership and sponsorship opportunities throughout all networking, educational, charitable and social events. To that end, we are charged with:
Membership:
- Ensure membership from top property management and owner companies in Tulsa County.
- Call all new members to welcome, encourage and facilitate active involvement of all members.
- Monitor the ratio of membership according to the BY LAWS.
- Organize, schedule and promote one “new member” activity per year.
- Introduce new members at monthly luncheons.
Sponsorship:
- Organizing platforms for multi-level partnerships and general sponsorship opportunities
- Generating interest and participation in partnership opportunities
- Assist the BOMA Board in identifying and soliciting prospective sponsors.

Our mission is to create opportunities for members to network in a light-hearted environment that stimulates the building of relationships.

Our mission is to provide interesting and informative speakers for BOMA Tulsa luncheons. To that end, we:
- Plan and coordinates the program for the monthly meetings.
- Secure and present the luncheon speakers.
Assist the BAE in luncheon logistics (welcome members, name tags, video projection, etc.)

Our mission is to encourage participation in the EER and develop new sources of information for reports, briefs and studies important to the economic development of member firms.

By auditing Association accounts, and assisting in the development of the Association’s annual budget, the Finance & Planning Committee oversees financial matters and develops plans for the long range growth and development of the Association. A complete list of activities can be found in the Association By-Laws.

Make recommendations to the board regarding the business policies of the Association. To this end, the Policy Committee:
- Annually updates the policy manual that is kept with the records of the Association, especially Policies in regard to those required by the 990.
- Resolve association issues by presenting policies to the board for approval as needed

Our mission is to encourage BOMA Tulsa’s involvement in BOMA International’s energy and sustainability initiatives, to educate our members in the economics and mechanics of green issues, and to provide our members with tools to sell these issues to their owners and management. Some charges may include:
- To promote value driven sustainability practices among our members through advocacy and education.
- To encourage the sharing of best practices and participation in BOMA-I energy initiatives and programs.
- Produce an annual checklist of key items for property managers use saving energy and create a healthier indoor environment.
- Create a list of “green” associate member companies with information regarding the products and services they provide.
- Position our local as the source for owners and tenants seeking environmental and operational excellence in the Tulsa area.
